At the age of 18, Alan felt God’s call to be ‘fruitful’ in God’s kingdom. For him, this meant leading people to Jesus and helping them grow in their relationship with God.
As a young man, Alan studied at a Bible College, then Baptist Theological College and later at another college completed multicultural studies. For 40 years, in New Zealand and Australia, he served as a minister in several denominations, including serving as a church and multicultural advisor for the Baptist Union of New Zealand. During Alan’s retirement years he also had the privilege of living and working in Asia for two years as the Director of a Christian aid organisation.
Alan is still active in ministry including leadership coaching and mentoring.
He currently lives with his wife Pam in Darwin, the Northern Territory of Australia.
